The trend is gradually changing as Actis UK, along with CrossBoundary inaugurated 609Kwp Solar Hybrid project at Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja a year ago. As a result of the 609Kwp Solar Hybrid project at Jabi Lake Mall, a total of 106 Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) within the mall have seen their electricity bills dropped by 30 percent. The Minister of State for Power, Mr. Goddy Jedy-Agba recently inspected the Jabi Lake Mall solar hybrid power plant that has powered the facility for 14 months. Some of these projects include Heritage Place, Ikoyi and Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja. “The bills of tenants are cheaper as 30 per cent of energy is delivered by the solar plant.
